As Trade Accountant, you’re the key link connecting complex commodity trading with financial integrity. Your work ensures accurate, transparent trading results, clean and audit-ready systems, and robust internal controls, backed by strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.
Your responsibilities:
Own accurate booking of trading P&L during month-end close
Keep trading systems efficient, reconciled, and audit-ready
Lead execution of monthly controls, and field internal/external audit inquiries
Partner on continuous finance improvement, process automation, and reporting optimization
Functie-eisen
5+ years of financial accounting experience (energy or trading is a plus)
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Strong understanding of commodities trading and audit processes
Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus
Ability to communicate clearly and build relationships across teams
